TR2-3B Track Rod End Right Hand inner, Right Hand Thread. This is the original part number for this part in greasable form. This part has a grease nipple which when mounted in the correct position will sit on top of the ball joint allowing access for the grease gun.

There are many manufactures of track rod ends, some good, some bad. Revington TR have checked many suppliers product and found huge variation in dimensions.

Some leave no thread protruding after the nut has been tightened onto the tie rod lever, some have the height of the ball joint so far out as to introduce one degree of bump-steer over 50mm of travel. As a result of these tests Revington TR offer two ranges of track rod ends: -

The range 110466, 110467, 110468 (and 110469 which is identical to 110468 to which it is superseded) are original in form and specification fitted with grease nipples in the correct position. The outer track rod ends 110468 and 110469 are the same with the grease nipple in the top cap but the inner joints 110466 and 110467 are handed so that the grease nipple mounted in the side of the body face upwards when fitted in the correct location. A full set therefore would be: -
1 x 110466
1 x 110467
2 x 110468

110466-1 and 110468-1 are manufactured to a modern specification using modern materials, which do not require grease. As there is no grease nipple only two types are needed, one with a left hand thread and one with a right hand thread. A full set therefore would be: -
2 x 110466-1
2 x 110468-1

We also have a huge selection of good second hand useable parts. See below

TR2-7 track rod ends can be rendered unserviceable simply for the need of a new gaiter. If your ball joint is in serviceable condition but just needs a gaiter, then choose 17H3501 rubber gaiter or SPF0334K (TR2-6) or SPF0333K SuperPro Polyurethane gaiters (sold in pairs).  As there are hundreds of different ball joints on the market we cannot guarantee these gaiters which are universal products will be an ideal fit but when wired in place should do the job.
