TR4A-6 (all models) Bell Housing & Gear Case second hand. Only two types of gear case were used on TR4-6. The TR4 being the first model used a gear casing (part number 304692) where the bell housing flange was of a consistent thickness (8mm) around the whole flange.

For the TR4A (part number 210622) the flange thickness was doubled to 16mm in the areas where the studs and bolts attach the flange to the engine. This casing (part number 210622) was carried on to the end of TR6 production. 

These casings are not available new. We keep both the TR4 and the TR4A-6 second hand casings under this part number 210622SH. The TR4 casing is perfectly adequate for a normal road car from TR4-6. If however your car has more power than standard and is used as a fast road car or for competition then the thicker flanged part is more appropriate. Please state intended use when ordering.
