BOLT EXTENSION FAN HUB
Part No:
HB1349
NOT AVAILABLE This part is no longer available
Plastic fan only. NLA Use 128319SH
Various engine fan arrangements were used from TR2-TR4A which broadly fall into two categories, with the TR4A having a third option for plastic fans. The engine in a TR4-4A is further away from the radiator than a TR2-3B which accounts for the different size extensions. Ensure the correct bolt is used with the extension of choice.
TR2-3B
108493 Extension with an effective length of 95mm using bolt 108498
107251 Extension with an effective length of 100mm using bolt 108498.This extension is found on many engines but does not appear in the parts books. As the hub to which it fits is part number 107250 it is logical that it was a correct early fitment, the part number being superceded by 108493 in later parts books.
108498 Bolt with starting handle lugs 140mm long for use with extension 108493 and 107251
TR4
128318 Extension with an effective length of 114mm using bolt 128319
128319 Bolt with starting handle lugs 159mm long (measured from under the head) for use with extension 128318
TR4A with Metal fan
128318 Extension with an effective length of 114mm using bolt 142185
142185 Bolt without starting handle lugs 159mm long (measured from under the head) for use with extension 128318
TR4A with Plastic fan
142121 Extension with an unknown effective length using bolt HB1349
HB1349 Bolt plain without starting handle lugs unknown length for use with extension 142121
Note: - TR2-4A hub extensions have a register of 5.5mm so they all measure this much more overall.
For reference TR250, 5 and 6 extensions 148831 which are not interchangeable are 84mm long with no register and use bolt 148832 which is 103mm long (measured from under the head)
TR2-3B

107251 Extension with an effective length of 100mm using bolt 108498.This extension is found on many engines but does not appear in the parts books. TR4A with Metal fan
128318 Extension with an effective length of 114mm using bolt 142185
142185 Bolt without starting handle lugs 159mm long (measured from under the head) for use with extension 128318
TR4A with Plastic fan
