The cost of an engine covered by his part number will depend on what state the engine is in that is supplied in exchange or for us to work on. The build includes an unleaded head, new liners and pistons all block and crank plugs removed for cleaning, crack testing, straitening of rods (usually slightly bent) clutch plate and cover and all rotation components balanced. The build is a time consuming process where all components are test fitted and adjusted to obtain the best fit within the constraints of the basic design and the parts available.
The result will be a unit which will perform better than standard even though the components are standard and will rev more freely. More intangible but just as important, a quality build will mean the life of the engine will be extended well beyond that which could have been expected out of a factory unit.

It is impossible to give a part number and price for all variations of these engines as each customers requirements tend to be different. We do however have basic specifications for balanced Standard units, Fast Road units and Race units. These can be sent to you on request and used as a basis for your bespoke specification.
