TR2-4A steel crank shaft, produced from 722M24 (EN40B) steel, heat treated. This type of steel crankshaft accepts flywheels which use the standard 4 bolt and dowel fixings. The crankshafts are made to special order, have a delivery time of 20 weeks and are subject to a 50% deposit with order.

This type of TR2-4A crankshaft is generally the same fit as a standard crank, meaning it uses the same bearings and rods, same front seal and pulley fitment and standard flywheel attachment. This crank is ideal if standard components are to be reused around the crankshaft. Apart from re-use of existing components there are good technical reasons for using this type of crankshaft. Sticking close to Triumph's design but using better material reduces the risk of harmonic or vibration issues.  
 
For full race applications please use dummy 5 bearing crankshaft RTR1469 which can be machined to accept standard or modified flywheel types to customers requirements.
