This kit includes a 280mm (11") suction fan and a precise adjustable temperature controller. This kit offers optimum cooling performance to ensure your engine runs in its designed temperature range to give best performance and fuel economy.

'Pull Through' Clamps are included to attach the fan directly to the radiator core as is a short hose which is required to connect the controller to the down pipe from which 63.5mm (2.5") is removed The fan in this kit is the sucking type which means it is intended to be fitted behind the radiator so that the fresh air is sucked through the radiator. The controller can be adjusted so that the fan comes on at a user defined temperature. This high quality fan kit which includes the latest high efficiency fan and an adjustable electronic controller has been designed to replace the standard original mechanical fan, reducing the load on the engine, noise and improving both power and fuel consumption. Please note: The standard crank mounted fan & extension will need to be removed and replaced with a crank bolt set consisting of a new bolt, spreader washer & lock washer which are NOT included in the kit but are listed below. The controller supplied in this kit will only work on NEGATIVE EARTH cars. Revington TR offer a range of Radiator Cooling Fan kits split into 3 groups as follows: -
  • RTR1488K one Universal kit
  • RTR1416 series is our Standard range which includes a higher quality Fan than kit RTR1488K, 'Pull Through' Clamps to attach the fan directly to the radiator core, and an Adjustable Thermostatic Temperature Controller (In Line Electronic Type).
  • RTR1483 series is our Deluxe range which includes the same high quality Fan that is used in the RTR1416 series, Bespoke Brackets to attach the Fan to the radiator frame, and an Adjustable Thermostatic Temperature Controller (In Line Electronic Type).

    Tip: - Always clean hose connections thoroughly and rough up shiny pipes onto which hoses will be fitted. Use Heldite sealant around the inside of the hose. This ensures a perfect seal without undue hose clip pressure being needed.
