As this unit is mostly used in race applications, installers use an alternative oil pressure gauge take off, typically an adaptor screwed into the oil gallery. A suitable adaptor to connect the oil pressure gauge to the oil gallery can be supplied to special order.

This unit is designed to be used with an oil cooler, as it has the inlet & outlet for the hoses. If a cooler is not fitted a hose is required to join both fittings, they must not be blanked off.
