RIM BAND 15-16" x 45mm WIRE WHEEL

Wire wheel Rim Band made from a soft compound with square cut edges at the full thickness. Rim bands are only necessary in the wheel well of wire wheels, where exposed spoke heads are present that would cut the inner tube if a protective band were not used.
Other rim bands on the market are feathered in thickness at the edges. We have found these alternative bands are sometimes too hard, the material used goes harder still over a period of time and these thin edges act like razor blades slitting the inner tube. Insulation tape is not adequate! (this also goes hard and cuts the tube), so always use these high quality rim bands.
