This type of hose has the advantage over rubber that the outer surface resists abrasion and the inner surface cannot swell (potentially blocking the passage of fluid) as can happen with standard rubber hose.

This part has a short male end to screw into the cylinder. A seal is obtained by a copper washer between the hose and cylinder. A long male end that goes through the chassis bracket secured with a half nut, to which the female ended solid pipe is attached. Make sure you have a copper washer for the slave cylinder see below.
