Based on the design used on the Works TR4 rally cars, both conventional non-fly off (this part number) and fly-off (RTR4394-1K) types are available. Drivers of TR2-4 will be aware of the difficulty of reaching the original handbrake with seat belts fitted, particularly full harness types and the annoying position of the lever which can rub ones left leg when sat in the right hand seat; particularly annoying to right hand drivers. This kit addresses both these problems.

Customers are advised to Note: This kit is made up of some new, some second hand and some reconditioned parts. For instance the main lever will be second hand powder coated, and can be either cranked or straight, please state which you prefer when ordering. All parts will have been checked for adequacy of operation.

This kit does not include a gaiter. Customers either leave the mechanism exposed or have their trimmer sew a gaiter into the carpet cover over the rear tunnel.
