TR2 TS1201 on, TR3, TR3A, TR3B and TR4 Aluminium radiator with neck with wet box. Wet box is the correct name for the box around the starting handle hole.

This wet box allows the coolant to flow around the starting handle hole joining the cut tubes so that the radiator can operate at maximum efficiency. the cut tubes would be redundant and severely impair the radiators ability to operate correctly if they were simply blocked off where the starting handle hole was inserted

This aluminium version of the original radiator is 50% lighter and offers 1.5 times better efficiency than the standard copper and brass cores.

As well as all the usual features, a boss is fitted in the bottom tank to allow fitment of a thermo switch to activate an electrical cooling fan.

This radiator can also be supplied painted black with a special paint that will not significantly reduce cooling ability. This covering minimises the effect of having the core powder coated, it does still have a negative effect, loseing between 2-3% of the cores efficiency. 

A small extra charge will be applied should you with to have this covering applied.
