TR2-4 Damper Mount Strengthening kit for attachment to Inboard face of standard rear damper mountings (DAS9 type). The kit consists of 8 parts to strengthen the standard damper mount as well as when our rear anti roll bar supports are fitted to the damper mount.

Why do I need this kit?

Neil Revington explains: -

The rear damper supports on TR2-4 and TR2 in particular are week being welded to the top face of the chassis rail and can tear clean off the chassis. This happened on my TR2 in the 1980's requiring a local repair and strengthening at the time. This kit is a development of the strengthening applied then and is easy and simple to apply but the strengtheners do require welding on.
