This strengthener sits at the narrow weak point of the TR4A chassis in-between where the trailing arms attach on IRS cars, although this part is included on live axle cars too. This part is incredibly complex to make so we offer good second hand original parts RTR7288SH that are serviceable and have been removed from chassis with rotten main rails. Ideal for the concourse original look.

This part was deleted when the decision was made by Triumph to use the body to strengthen this area on TR5/250 onwards, thus rendering this part redundant. The TR5/250 drawing can be viewed here where 2 x item 54 have been included, and do a much better job of triangulating this weak area.
