Electronic Tachometer with extended rev range, all types TR2-6. The face of the instrument is printed in the original style but calibrate to read 0-7000 or 0-8000 full scale deflection. This range of Electronic Tachometers developed by RevingtonTR have new correct 120mm diameter cases that suit TR2-6 and are now sold on an outright basis with no need to return an old instrument.

The outward appearance of the tachometer is identical to an original instrument however this part number covers none standard scales. The face of the instrument is printed and calibrate to read 0-7000 or 0-8000 full scale deflection. We use this one part number to cover all special Electronic Tachometers with special faces and calibrations. When ordering please state the model type as follows: -

Each instrument is adjustable to accept a range of trigger pulses making it suitable for a standard coil or a range of electronic ignition or EFI configurations.

Technical tips.
Install the Tachometer and make the electrical connections as per the general instruction supplied with the instrument using the red/blue wire for a signal from the coil negative. 
The DIP switches are covered with Kapton tape. This tape is placed over the DIP switched to prevent the switches being heat damaged when the components are reflow soldered on to the circuit board. The tape is left in place after soldering as it acts as an effective moisture barrier protecting the switches. To alter the settings of the instruments, simply remove the tape to reveal the switches.
