This Tenon Plate, which replaces standard part 560630 is made from stainless steel and incorporates a forward facing extension to which a bullet type mirror or similar can be attached. Part number 222-355 is a suitable part. The tenon plate is sandwiched between the stanchion and the windscreen frame.

This guide plate is flat and can be used on both left hand drive cars and right hand drive cars. It is recommended that this plate be used on its own, only on cars where side screens are unlikely to be used as the cloth covering at the front of the side screen may hit the mirror when opened.  
 
An additional Z shaped bracket RTR9149-2 is available that bolts to the tenon plate and sets the mirror out sufficiently so that the side screen misses the mirror when a bullet type mirror is fitted. This is equally effective on both driver and passenger sides of the car.

RTR9149 can also be used to replace standard part 560630 where a mirror is not required by simple cutting off the mirror support.
