Exhaust systems

Although I don't race, I've fitted the race winning Revington 6>1 Extractor manifold and single pipe system, RTR2042. Now, I've never had the car on a rolling road, so I can't give before and after stats about how good this system is (over to you Neil!). What I do know is how lively my car feels compared with other otherwise up-together TR6s I've driven which still have the standard system. A word about the noise. The standard TR6 exhaust sounds sweet and melodious, I Iike to think a bit similar to a Merlin-powered Spitfire. With this kit it won't. Whilst not especially loud (although definitely louder than standard) it's a different type of noise - harder edged and a lot more gruff. To continue my aeroplane analogy, it's like a Griffon-engined Spitfire. If you know the difference there, you'll get what I'm on about.
