Blockley came about due to a need to source tyres to fit a Grand Prix Maserati, a search that found nothing suitable in the market place. What was required was a high quality period looking suitable tyre with a genuine high speed rating suitable for competition purposes, that could be driven to events legally, using the correct wheel sizes and rim widths.

Approaches to Dunlop to produce such a tyre fell on stony ground, but that did establish that they no longer had any of the drawings, archive or old moulds.

The Blockley Tyre Company was therefore formed to produce period looking tyres with modern performance. Blockley products have been acclaimed the world over and are proud to have been given the first Historic Motor Sports Company Of The Year Award. We have listed here our most popular sizes and tread patterns but can provide other sizes and styles to special order. 

The sizes listed are all 15 inch to suit TR2-6 with one crossply option, the rest of our list being radial tyres. the full range is available to special order, please enquire with your requirements for advice on best fitment.
