When converting a TR250 or TR5 from an existing Surrey top, extra catches and a new screen capping on the screen top are required. Order kit no. RTR6153BK.

 

TR4-4A owners when contemplating using this kit must make modifications to the top of the windscreen frame to allow TR5 soft top style catches to be fitted. Additional kit RTR6153AK will be needed. If a windscreen frame change is being contemplated (most likely if the car is in build) you can use a TR250, 5 or TR6 windscreen frame, which provides the locations necessary to fit the correct hold down catches.

 

Kit RTR6153CK is a further additional kit which might be required. It provides extra-long bolts to attach the rear of the Surrey Top and the hard top (as well as Allen keys to tighten them) to the backlight frame ONLY when our fibreglass backlight frame with Roll Over Bar in the RTR7122 series is in use.

 

The above kits have been generated and the component parts removed from the basic kits RTR6139__K to avoid costly duplications.
